Constructed in the early 1800's the Barn has served many functions throughout its history. Originally used a livery stable to provide a taxi service to local residents, it was then converted into an auction house, and finally a horse stable.
Starting in 2011, the careful conversion of the Barn from a horse stable to its present day use as a wedding and events venue was started. The main structure of the Barn including the beams, roof and rafters has been maintained in its original condition. All additional upgrades have been carefully undertaken to ensure the history of the original structure was maintained.
Today the venue features a Tack Room, a Carriage House, a Brides Room, an Open Air Gallery, and indoor washroom facilities.
Located off the main entrance, at the front of the barn, the original Tack Room* is the perfect place to display your wedding cake, desserts, and wedding favours.
*A tack room is a room within a stable that is used for the storage and maintenance of riding tack such a saddles and bridles.
Added in 2020, the Open Air Gallery provides an additional covered space to host the ceremony, reception and dancing. The Gallery ensures that inclement weather does not cause any disruptions to your big day.
Located on the west side of the barn the Carriage House was originally used to house horse drawn carriages and their related tack. Through careful renovation it has been converted into the present day reception area that now houses the dining, dancing and libations portion of weddings and events.
Added in 2019, the Brides Room is a serene venue for you and your wedding party to prepare for your big day. It can also be the perfect refuge to steal moment of quiet away from all of the hustle and bustle.
